Geneva Tatem, MD, is a pulmonary and critical care
physician at Henry Ford Hospital. She graduated from University of Michigan
School of Medicine and completed an internship in Emergency Medicine at the
University of Chicago. She subsequently completed residency in Internal
Medicine and fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Henry Ford
Hospital. Dr. Tatem is the former Director for the Pulmonary and Critical
Care Medicine fellowship program at Henry Ford Hospital, the largest training
program in Michigan within these specialties. She is also Clinical Professor
of Medicine at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and is the
Associate Division Head of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine for Henry
Ford Health.
Dr. Tatem is a dedicated leader in medical education with a focus on
advancing equity in graduate medical education through equitable recruitment
processes. She has a number of publications on the subject, with a call to
action for change. She is a dedicated clinician, educator and advocate for
health equity.
